About JA
The Japanese Association, also known as JA, is celebrating its 6th year at the University of Texas at Austin. JA helps represent Japanese culture
throughout campus as well as brings together people with interest in the culture, language, and people of Japan. From annual events like Sports Day,
Fall Festival, and Golden Week, to Japanese movie screenings, intramural sports, and karaoke, JA is a great organization to join to meet people,
have fun, and make friends. The officers for the 2010-2011 school year are excited to be leading the organization, and have a lot in store for

JA is founded on the principle of learning and spreading the awareness of Japanese culture. JA provides opportunities for
students on campus interested in Japanese culture to interact through various social activities and events.How To Join
So you want to join JA? Just come to one of our general meetings which are held on the first Thursdsay and third Monday of every month!
